This VALENTINE day is gonna be extra-special for me as one of my very lose friend is being engaged with sister’s brother-in-law on 14 feb :) I’m extremely happy for both of them as they had been liking each other since school days.
So on this Valentine, i’ve planned to make their day worth memorable (coz in turn it’ll be a happy day for me too) by some pleasant surprises to the couple like i’ve got a flipbook printed having pics of their childhood, a customized theme-based cake will be ordered for the occasion and after the ring ceremony, we’ll all go to the temple where we all used to go together on the way from school :)
wow…i’ve started visualizing the whole enjoyment of the day :)

  14. Hi,

V Day is extra special to me as we got the final go – ahead from our families that day!! So, its the day we “knew” we were gping to be married!!

So, here is how the story goes, we were at college, going home for vacations on 13th feb, so I made a video collage of our (whatever little we had – I am SHOCKED to think now that I actually included our passport size snaps as well in our college uniforms – no less!!) photo s together. We saw it together during the train ride home.

We had already told our families but were waiting for a final yes from them, which came on 14th feb!!

And I still remember, that first valentine s day – on the phone, a whispered but excited “Happy Valentines Day!!” from my then boyfriend, current husband :)

And we are on our 7th V Day this year – 6 married years, countless joys (and fights!!) and 1 kid under our belt !!

I am planning to update THAT video for him this time.

Wow ! What a giveaway – I Love the idea of gifting our Loved ones a thing which they Love , on Lovers’ day !!!
My husband & I have a common valentine , whom we love and are will be ever willing to do anything for that person -that’s our 6 year old son, Advaith . I have a complete record of my son’s activities right from the day he was born. A record that bears all his milestones so far-his ever first hair, footprints , videos & photos on his 1st smile, grin, crawl, walk , his ever first word , memories of his 1st tonsure at Tirupathi , his 1st birthday celebration, his first teacher, his first school etc. We have had it as a secret till date & he has never seen them before. Quite often, my son innocently asks me, “Was i a small baby when i was born “? So i plan to show him all this , i am sure he is gonna get super excited and shoot even more questions …..

My kids are my world! My husband and I never believe in celebrating valentines day just to prove that we love each other. We promise each day to be together and be a good example for our kids. Our couple love grew slightly bigger when we had our daughter. With eyes wide open she came into this world. She is 6 now but has taught us so much from what she does :) from 3 when we became 4 our love grew even more. Our son and my daughter’s lil brother came into this world. Now our love revolves around the 4 of us. In our own special way we celebrated this valentines day. Cooked husband and kids fav meal today…..when they r happy I’m happy too :)

Thanks for a fantastic giveaway! Those wooden magnets look so cool. They will be very useful for my lil one who is just 1 1/2 and not to forget my daughter who loves flowers and butterflies
